Original sin as you might never have imagined it, RocknRolla is a seductive serpent with red lips, gleaming white teeth and a protruding tongue, which inevitably recalls the legendary Rolling Stones logo designed by John Pasche in 1971.
RocknRolla first appeared in SPECULUM, a digital triptych by Dutch creative trio SMACK, inspired by Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights, in which it slithers across the central panel, trapped in an endless loop.
Now translated into sculptural form, RocknRolla is a limited edition resin figure, hand cast with a high shine finish in a striking colour combination of black, red and white.
SMACK participates in the artistic patronage program of SOLO Collection. Several of his original works are part of the Private Collection exhibited at Espacio SOLO (Madrid) and you can find other limited editions in Limited by SOLO
