Feel that certainty again, where things work and are ordered in their chaos; the past, nostalgia, the truth.
Agitated colors surround sharp shapes that slide across the plane. A vibrant body that could easily overwhelm the edges of the painting.
For Agus, that truth is an entire natural cycle intensified in an image. A dance, a ceremony performed by wild animals in a garden supported in the depths of the mountain forest. Surroundings where hawks and vultures fly over, while wild boars, foxes and wolves play at survival and run in different directions, a deer crosses their path, dazzling their gaze.
Space and shapes are synthesized, turning that entire complex environment into a timeless pictogram.
The dreamiest and most real scenes of the wild mountains are painted by the impulse of “the flamenco” and “the everyday”.
