Albert Pinya lives and works in the island of Mallorca (Spain).
Pinya’s universe is simple, energetic and dynamic. Through the use of multiple techniques - painting, installation and sculpture - he creates a world full of characters and colours. He takes inspiration from movies, TV series and cartoons.
Since 2018, Albert has started a collaboration with the ceramist Català Roig (Palma 1973). Thanks to the juxtaposition of traditional and contemporary expressions, this creative alliance has given birth to a new artistic vision.
