Ana Pavón Porras
(Spain, 1996)
Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Malaga (2018), where she also completed the Master in Interdisciplinary Artistic Production (2019).
She has exhibited individually with Resistencia (DA2 Domus Artium 2002, Salamanca, 2024), thelýglossos (Espacio Cero, Málaga, 2024), I Spit Even Honey (NANZUKA 2G by AKIINOUE, Tokio), Ideario (We Collect Gallery, Hotel Arts Barcelona, 2024), [Fr. 147P] (CAC Málaga, 2023), Eidyllium. Poema Breve (Museum of Cádiz, 2023), Los misterios del gineceo (Exhibition Hall of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Málaga, 2022), Idyllium (Exhibition Hall of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Granada, 2022) and Peithò (V.E.S Art Gallery Granada, 2022).
She has been awarded a scholarship by the Inciarte Program (2023) and by the Antonio Gala Foundation for Young Creators (2020). She has obtained the First Prize in the XXVI Competition For Young Painters of the Gaceta Foundation of Salamanca, also the fi rst prize in MalagaCrea Visual Arts (2024) and the Third Prize in MalagaCrea Visual Arts (2021), she was awarded in the Painting Category of the Plastic Arts Contest for the Hotel Four Seasons Madrid (2018) and, with Second Prize, in the I Painting Competition of the Sierra Elvira Foundation (2018).
Collectively, she has shown her work in numerous exhibitions such as TOPOLOGY x WHAT CAFE EXHIBITION vol. 34 (What Cafe Gallery, Tokyo, 2024), GEN-Z. Spanish Wet Painting (WeCollect Gallery Madrid, 2023), The Strangest Collection (Cerquone Gallery Madrid, 2022), JOY 2.0 (Gärna Gallery Madrid, 2022), the XXIV PINTCA National Competition (Málaga, 2021), Descends Au Sud: Al- Andalus (ICAM, Geneva, Switzerland, 2020), Lugares Vacíos (SEAP, Málaga, 2020), INT19 (MVA, Málaga, 2020), Interiorismos (RARA Residencia Artística, 2019) or in MalagaCrea Artes Visuales for four consecutive years (2019 - 2022). Also in the Francisco de Zurbarán International Painting Prize, the Villa de Chiva Autumn Awards or the XXI Sala El Brocense Plastic Arts Prize (2018), among others.
