Ela Fidalgo (Palma de Mallorca, 1993) has developed a unique language using fabrics and embroidery that are mixed with acrylic and waxes. Fidalgo gives shape to emotions that manifest from her universe full of questions about human behavior, beyond the domains of everyday life and thought. It dedicates all its processes to taking care of the individual, their reactions and behaviors.
Her research invites us to consider what it means to be human, in body, soul and essence. Away from academic techniques, figurative art with naive touches predominates in her universe, creating false collages behind which the body is the great protagonist. Embrace imperfection because for the artist, imperfection demonstrates creativity. The perfect does not grow, it stagnates.
