Fernando Tinoco, a graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Granada (2021), is an artist who seeks to unify his current concerns with an imaginary belonging to his childhood. His generation, due to the context in which he lives and thanks to social networks, is involved in an overexposure of feelings of all kinds, to the point of normalising issues such as anxiety or depression. As a result, the internet is full of memes and shitposts that treat these issues in a comical way, to the point of trivialising their seriousness. It is this bittersweet sensation that Tinoco pursues when creating, aiming to generate a smile with a certain feeling of guilt in the spectator. The refined finish of his pieces allows him to enter into a period of reflection and calm which, according to the artist, is very necessary.
