With a PhD from the Art Institute of the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP, a Master's degree in Visual Poetry from the University of São Paulo and a Bachelor of Arts from the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation, the artist also completed her postgraduate studies in photography at FAAP.
The artist Flávia Junqueira employs the use of staged photography, taken to its maximum expression: that of the baroque spectacle. They are the basis for a sophisticated reflection on childhood, its imaginary and narratives. Known as a national phenomenon, Flávia is one of the most promising young Brazilian artists.
Her works were exhibited in various museums and institutions throughout the country, such as the Thomie Othake Institute, Sao Paulo, Museu de Arte Moderna Rio de Janeiro, Art Museum of Brasilia, CAC, Malaga.
