Isabel Servera is a Mallorcan visual artist based in Barcelona. Her artistic practice focuses on painting and manual processes of repetition, accumulation and routines. She uses different resources proposing a dialogue between painting, art and craftsmanship.
Following an orderly pattern of movements he generates patterns, thus establishing a relationship with the lines of the paper similar to the one that the vareador has with his textile work.
Manual work is having a great impulse and is establishing comparisons with artistic processes. In this case, the final result of his works is reminiscent of tapestry, in which the weft and warp are intertwined, being themselves the final image and composition.
