Matt Belk
(1988, Nebraska)
Matt Belk, “BattMelk”, has increasingly become known as a contemporary wildlife painter, bridging the gap between the outdoor country lifestyle and modern contemporary. Born in 1988, in Omaha Nebraska, Matt received his BFA from the University Nebraska Lincoln. Matt’s work is in constant use of tape and cutting of shapes with an X-Acto blade and airbrushing with inventive new techniques to create a seemingly digital graphic depiction of the laws of nature.
