Mr. Kern, whose real name is Mathias Liniado, (Buenos Aires, 1981)
He studied applied arts in Bordeaux and Barcelona (La Llotja School). He is influenced by diverse sources such as underground comics from the 80s, surrealist painting, urban art, and the works of Diego de Velázquez.
In 2002, he published the book "Le Cendart," which contains comic pages, portraits, and some of his murals.
He has participated in urban art festivals and exhibitions in London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, and Manchester. Regarding his work, he says he is "fed up with how perfect we all must be" and that he is "tired of everything we like being absolutely round, square, and therefore, beautiful."
In 2017, he started publishing in the French magazine Fluide Glacial. That same year, together with Antoine Pinson, he published his first graphic novel, "El caso Alain Lluch," a wild fantasy about marketing, food, and capitalism in general.
Currently, he is preparing his next solo exhibition for the Delimbo gallery in Seville.
