Niall Campbell Strachan is a Scottish visual artist based in the village of Fortrose in the Highlands. He DOES NOT paint Highland Cows, landscapes or castles.
Working intuitively and with an urgent sense of vigour , he explores his interior world with a joyful glee and presents it to us to make sense of.
A huge animal lover, we see creatures of all shapes and forms, many plucked from his imagination, interact with each other and with (generally) useless humans.
Strachan will be a part of some group shows across the UK in 2021 and is ready to connect with people in real life situations with art objects on walls embracing them like a warm hug.
