Ramiro Gonzalez Luna lives and practices in Mexico City. It was during the pandemic when he started focusing on creating his own art and signature style. Through his past experience working at an art gallery and having a daily contact and relationship with art, inspiration swept through. He describes himself as a “part time ceramist”. The inspiration behind his ceramics was drawn from ordinary objects left behind, and above all, he focuses on the remains left of daily interactions. To him, as it is with the trash, you can tell plenty about a person depending on what they leave behind. Each ceramic piece is unique, just as every one of us. Ramiro tries to re-create this party mood, which of course ponders on issues such as addictions, fast food, drugs, among other issues.
