Raquel Jiménez Molina
(Spain, 1989)
Raquel Jiménez Molina (Albacete, 1989) studied Fine Arts at the Universitat Politècnica de València and Art History at the Universitat de València. She completed her studies at the Université Pierre Mendès France in Grenoble (France) and lived in Paris after receiving a training grant at the Musée d’Orsay. She lives and works in Seville, where she pursued the Master’s degree in Art, Idea, and Production at the Faculty of Fine Arts.
Her painting production revolves around three thematic axes: women’s clothing, the concept of innocence, and the conventions of romantic
love. She is currently developing her work at Estudios Retiro, a group of artists’ studios located in the neighborhood of Miraflores.
