Rosalia Banet
(Spain, 1972)
A multidisciplinary artist whose practice always starts with drawing, developing projects that take different forms and formats, ranging from paintings and sculptures to installations and audiovisual pieces. Through her work, she analyzes and reflects on the systems and patterns we inhabit. She portrays contemporary society with its excesses and imbalances, bringing to light the monsters that inhabit modern civilization. The three main pillars of her practice are the body and its diseases, food, and territory.
