Lives and works in Santiago de Compostela, Spain
Graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, with a final year at the Camberwell College of Arts in London, he develops a body of work initially focused on drawing and painting, later also exploring video and sound.
Among his recent individual exhibitions are notable Las cosas pasaron tan rápido que resultó difícil acompañarlas (Víctor Lope Arte Contemporáneo, Barcelona, 2022), Let the future be decided in small places (Lariot Collective, London, 2022), El pasado habrá sido un planeta extraño in Gabinete de dibujos, Valencia, or Hauntopolis (CEART Fuenlabrada, Madrid, 2020). Previously, his exhibitions Conmigo llevo todas las cosas (La New Gallery, Madrid, 2013) or En la vida anterior (Centre Municipal d’Exposicions d’Elx, Alicante, 2011) deserve mention.
Among the collective exhibitions in which he has participated, the most noteworthy are Souvenances (French Institute of Marrakech), Dévoiler le monde (Christian Berst, París) and Protection No Longer Assured (Colección SOLO, Madrid, 2023), Pan y circo. Arte y alimentación (Sala Amós Salvador, Logroño, 2021), Cuidado y peligro de sí (Sala Amós Salvador, 2021), Animalista (La Casa Encendida, Madrid, 2016), Otras tauromaquias (Calcografía Nacional de la Real Academia de San Fernando, 2016), XII Gas Natural Fenosa International Art Show, (A Coruña Museum of Contemporary Art, 2012), or Nulla dies sine linea. Contemporary Spanish Drawing (Cervantes Institute Chicago / Freies Museum Berlin & Sangsang Madang Gallery Seoul, 2011).
His work received the Best Exhibition Award at the 2021 Abierto Valencia, the A Contemporánea Award at Intersección Festival, First Prize at the 12th Gas Natural Fenosa International Art Show, and the prize at the XVII UNED Plastic Arts Edition, among other awards.
His work has been present at national and international contemporary art fairs such as UVNT, Estampa, JustMad, Art Madrid, Arte Santander, Drawing Room, Art on Paper Amsterdam, Luxembourg Art Fair, PINTA London, or FNB Joburg Art Fair.
His work is present in both private and institutional collections, including SOLO Collection, Mac (A Coruña Museum of Contemporary Art), Jardin Rouge Montresso Art Foundation or the UNED Collection.
