La Fundación Nadine works to generate spaces for the creation and acknowledgement of emerging artists by supporting their creative processes and expanding their exhibition, production and distribution capacity to the maximum.
During the month of May 2021, between the 27th and 30th, Urvanity presents its fifth edition of the Urvanity ART Fair at COAM. All artists exhibiting at the fair through their galleries will be able to access the call for the award.
The call aims to select 1 artist to develop a 3-month residency in the city of Madrid during the months of September, October and November. The purpose of the residency is the completion of the final work to be exhibited and marketed.
The award is valued at 12.000€, considering the following concepts: accommodation, workshop, production expenses, salary and materials for the achievement of the final work. The artist must present an adequate budget for these characteristics. The work may address any theme that aims to reflect and dialogue around a social or environmental problem.
The call is open to artists registered at Urvanity 2021, held between May 27 and 30 in Madrid.
The work may address any subject that has the purpose of reflection and dialogue around a social or environmental problem.
The award winner will be announced on the first day of the fair, May 27.
