Isabel Croxatto Galería
(Santiago de Chile, Chile)
Isabel Croxatto Galería is an international platform for contemporary art, founded in 2012 in Santiago de Chile. Its management focuses on presenting, promoting, and commercializing contemporary art from the southern hemisphere, fostering the work of artists in Chile and abroad, encouraging different forms of collecting, and opening new markets for Chilean contemporary art in collaboration with artists, curators, collectors, public, and private institutions.
The curatorial project of Isabel Croxatto Galería brings together artists whose work revolves around contemporary issues concerning the human experience, from the intimate and social body to memory and archives, from the analog to the digital. Inspired by figurative art, each of them, through various mediums, aesthetically poses unique and unsettling questions and solutions that invite reflection on the times we live in.
Isabel Croxatto Galería is a member of AGAC, the Association of Contemporary Art Galleries of Chile, and is sponsored by SISMICA, a sectorial brand for Chilean visual arts, and ProChile, an agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Chile dedicated to promoting Chilean industries abroad.
