Llamazares Galería opened its doors in 2005, founded by Gema Llamazares. After fifteen years of experience in the dissemination and promotion of contemporary and emerging art, in 2021 her daughter, Diana Llamazares, took over the management of the gallery, renewing its image and brand and embarking on an exciting path for the future. The spirit of work, ethics, coherence and tenacity that has characterized the gallery’s work over the last fifteen years is fused with the strength of youth, enthusiasm and new approaches that will only enrich this new project. Located in Gijon, its exhibition program includes the work of mid-career artists and young creators, to whom the gallery offers a platform for the visibility of their projects and a commitment to the pursuit of their artistic career. Through curated projects, co-productions with other spaces and a strong presence in national and international fairs, Llamazares Galería has built a dynamic project that aims to give visibility to the great variety of cultural approaches and aesthetic proposals that give meaning to today’s art.
