Verduyn
(Moregem, Bélgica)
Verduyn Gallery is dedicated to fostering dialogue between emerging and internationally established contemporary artists through a dynamic, multi-platform program. This includes a wide array of visual expressions—ranging from figurative paintings and abstract drawings to performative videos and conceptual sculptures. The gallery’s program is shaped through collaborations with renowned external curators and guided by an advisory board of experts. This genuine passion for the artistic community is further embodied in the gallery’s artist residency program, which offers a dedicated studio space for artists in residence to create and engage.
Located in Moregem, Belgium, the gallery is housed across three contiguous exhibition spaces, covering over 4,000 square feet on an idyllic farm just an hour from Brussels. The sprawling grounds, complete with inspired landscaping, include a sculpture garden, blending art with the inspiring natural surroundings. Founded in 2021 by Stefanie Verduyn, the gallery reflects her personal and biographical influences—such as her love for sharing, community, and fostering creativity through dialogue, among her connection to nature and the Global South by having spent years living in rural Argentina. Providing fertile ground for discussions that cross geographic boundaries, Verduyn Gallery highlights the interconnectedness of a globalized world through art.
