Whitestone Gallery
(Tokyo, Karuizawa, Hong Kong, Taipei, Pekin, Singapur, Seoul)
Since its opening in Ginza, the heart of Tokyo, in 1967, Whitestone Gallery has remained one of the few pioneers in the art industry. Aiming to further dialogue between art and the local community, we opened the Karuizawa New Art Museum in Karuizawa (2012), a rare private art museum in Japan. Subsequently, we opened galleries in Taipei (2017) and Hong Kong H Queen’s (2018). Having survived the global pandemic, we continue to take on new challenges, opening galleries and museums in Beijing (2023), Seoul (September), and Singapore (October).Through these international locations, Whitestone Gallery will facilitate an artistic dialogue that transcends artistic boundaries and contributes significantly to the evolving artistic landscape. We want to celebrate the power of art to transcend borders and connect the world by sharing the beauty of the unfettered human imagination. Through the discovery of new talent, the dialogue with compelling works of art, and the pursuit of artistic excellence, Whitestone Gallery will continue to bring the appeal of art to art lovers around the world. Internationally acclaimed architect Kengo Kuma has been invited to supervise the construction of the building, contributing his keen aesthetic eye to the completion of a space that is appropriate for contemporary art.
