Vladimir Maruts Ballet
(Argentina, 1985)
Born in Buenos Aires in 1985 Vladimir Maruts Ballet begins in early 2000 moving between graffiti, punk and urban exploration. With a self-taught background his body of work has a diverse materialization that goes through paintings, graffitied walls, digital, NFTs, digital art, printed publications, album covers and other experimentations. In 2021 he edits his first printed publication “Ballet” together with “Bucle editorial”, a magazine where he shows a variety of digital compositions, which already has two issues.
In 2022 he begins to make art exhibitions in galleries. His paintings combine the use of brush, airbrush and graffiti spray. His art mixes elements of Argentine popular culture with international influences, ranging from the kitch, cute, ignorant and absurd to a more critical, raw and esoteric sense.
He currently resides in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
